A calm, collaborative beginning.
Starting mental health care can feel intimidating — especially if you're not sure what to say or where to begin. Your first visit is designed to feel grounded, conversational, and supportive.
You don't need the "right words." Just come as you are.
Once scheduled, you'll receive intake forms through the secure patient portal. These help us understand your history, current concerns, and goals ahead of time — so we can spend more of your visit talking, not paperwork.
You can complete these at your own pace.
Your initial appointment is a space to slow down and tell your story.
What's been going on lately
What prompted you to seek care now
Past experiences with mental health treatment (if any)
Medical history, medications, and lifestyle factors
Sleep, stress, focus, mood, and energy
What you're hoping for moving forward
If medication is discussed, it will always be explained clearly, collaboratively, and without pressure.
At the end of your appointment, we'll talk through next steps together. This may include:
A treatment plan
Medication recommendations (if appropriate)
Follow-up scheduling
It's okay if you feel nervous — that's very common
You don't need to be in crisis to seek care
Questions are always welcome
You are an active participant in your treatment
Many people come in saying:
"I don't know exactly what I need — I just know something feels off."
"I'm not sure if my symptoms are 'bad enough' to seek help."
"I don't want to be on medication forever."
"I've tried therapy before and it didn't help."
That's more than enough to begin.
We'll figure out the rest together.
Schedule your first appointment and begin your journey toward clarity and balance.
